Ula the Mermaid

Inspired by my work in Progress novel I decided to put together a photo session about Ula,  The girl that can talk to the wind. The brief synopsis ofo this Story is that her father, unbeknowst to her, was a Merman, choosing a life ashore, but then disappears one evening on a fishing boat expedition, She spends the following couple of years wondering whatever happened to him and arguing with her mother, as teenagers do. One day the wind carries her a message from the depths of the ocean that she is needed by her father, who is frail and struggling to protect his tribe by the Dark Currents...

{Rock the Frock} Persephone

Your wedding dress doesn’t have to hang in your closet after you wore it once.  An ever increasing trend is to book sessions where you get to prettify yourself and rock your wedding dress once more.  Although I do like the classic portraits some brides choose for their session, I wanted to do something a little different. I incorported a story into this session.  You don’t need many details to do something like this.  You can get so creative with just the bare minimum. Until one day,  I just realized, what others...

Mnemosyne Styled session

Mnemosyne is the goddess of time and memories, something I feel goes hand in hand with planning a wedding and ultimately getting married.  Her worshippers would bring her golden trinkets (apples) in exchange for good health, memories and time with their family.  She was also the mother of the 9 muses and created poetry and the spoken word…. She’s nogal awesome 🙂 Thank you to everyone who helped me make this session possible.
